Default I need a guide for selling stuff.

Seriously, I wish trading in this game could be done much efficiently like some other games I know. Now how come it takes forever to sell stuff... Is there a particular day that I can be gauranteed to sell stuff?

What are your recommendations to not stay for 3 hours trying to sell stuff?

There is no real guide. From personal experience, I almost always sell in kamadan, with occasional trips to LA but I never stay there long. Make sure your stuff is worth selling. That is, max damage/armor or max mods, or rare skin. Just because something used to be worth something, doesn't mean it still is. For example, elemental swords, dead swords, most greens. They've been farmed to death and now aren't worth nearly as much. Most mods have to be max (with the notable exception of maybe forget me not, which you can sell at 19% sometimes) Items should pretty much always be gold, unless it's such a rare item that a purple one will sell (like crystalline swords) Even max inscribable purple items are merch food otherwise (or put em on your heroes)

Don't just stand there spamming the same thing for 3 hours. Actively look in the party window and people wanting to buy things, I sell most of my mods that way since it's not worth spamming for an item worth only a couple k. If your item doesn't sell, change it up and spam something else.

Make sure your prices are fair. If you're in a rush to sell something, price it below what it normally sells for. Chances are if nobody's ever selling that item, it's either uber rare (unlikely, or you'd know about it) or it's not worth selling. Don't bother spamming with most dyes (except black and white) or runes (except superior vigor) as it's usually not worth the time for the difference in what the trader would give you. Occasional exceptions would be if a new farming build comes out and one rune becomes in high demand, but that's rare (like superior shadow arts for uw farming)

Common sense, but be on when the people are on. Go in American districts when people will be home from school/work, which is usually nighttimes. Saturdays are great, I sell most of my stuff then. Sundays are slower. If you don't have the patience, put a list on the guru sell forum and take offers. If nobody offers anything, merch the stuff it's probably not worth it.

What are you selling? If it's repulsive, then chances are it's rare and someone will buy, the uglier the item, the bigger it's value in GW's for some odd reason

Ps. If you have Nightfall, go to Spamadan, a lot of people selling/buying go there
